Instructions To Build Your Computer
Now that you have decided to build a computer yourself, it is important for you to understand that all computers require few basic parts in order to operate. The parts are processor, motherboard, power supply and memory. Peripherals that you must have for successful running of your PC include monitor, keyboard and also a graphics card. The only thing that you need to keep in mind while buying computer parts is that all components need to be compatible with each other.

Start with setting up the cabinet/Case. When you are setting a cabinet for your computer, make sure you are doing it on a flat surface. The second step involves taking out the I/O (input/output) plate that is present in the motherboard box and install it in the cabinet where you generally see the computer ports. Generally, the heat-sink along with the fan needs to be positioned over the processor. Once you have installed the heat-sync, secure it either with help of its clips or by tightly screwing it. Locate the power connector that has been attached to the fan and plug it into the motherboard.
Also fix your power supply by sliding it into the case/cabinet and scrolling it from outside. Also plug the 4-pin and 24-pin connectors into the motherboard. Now that the power supply had been connected, make sure that nothing has been plugged in the socket till the time your whole computer has been built. It is very important to stay away from an electrical hazard.
Also line up the RAM with memory slots. You will need to apply it pushing in action; in case they do not fix in the slots, you will have to turn its face and do it again. To secure it, you will need to flip in the clips that are present on the side of slot.
Also put your drives into the drive banks that are generally located at the front of the cabinet. Screw the drives and connect the power supply cables with them. Also collect the data cables. Mostly SATA data cables are used these days which are flat, thin and red in color. The data cables should be connected with each drive you fix in your case.
In case you require any additional cards such as Ethernet or graphics, install them. Now that everything has been positioned to its place, close the cabinet/case and plug in your keyboard, monitor and mouse. Also plug in your wireless adapter or Ethernet cable if you need an Internet connection. Finally, you are required to plug in the power cable to your computer as well as to the power supply.
Your computer is now ready. Press the power button in order to boot it. Also turn your monitor on. Install your favorite operating system and start using your self-made PC.
